When you either walk or run on the seafront every single day it’s nice to see some celebrities enjoy the same thing. A few months ago we had Brad Pitt shooting a few streets from our house and in the above picture Tom Hanks is walking with his daughter along the Sliema promenade (you see Surfside in the back, right?). The reason the Oscar winning actor is in Malta is that he’s shooting the historical thriller Captain Phillips.

It makes you proud to have famous people enjoying the island the same way you are and it seems like Hanks is already a native when it comes to complaining about the traffic.

I know what they’re trying to do here, “Don’t get low on sugar, have a snack, be happy.”, but I just don’t like execution here. It feels dull and uninspired. Copy and concept is good though: “You’re not you when you’re hungry”. I sure know how that feels!

It’s only a concept, but wouldn’t it be great to have physical Instagram socialmatic? The Instagram Socialmatic is a flat touch screen camera with a built in printer,  16GB of storage capacity, two camera lenses, AND Wifi and bluetooth! It’s an impressive idea based on the super popular Instagram app and I personally would consider buying one (for Lenah).

The concept is designed by ADR Studio. Let’s hope there’s enough interest to make it a reality.
